CHAPTER THREE

CALLIE’S MIND TINGLED with fuzzy electricity as Elina’s lips closed over hers.

So soft, she thought to herself as she parted her mouth and tilted her head.

Then the world spun as her friend’s tongue slipped inside her mouth, her arms light, her chest filling with butterflies as her knees buckled beneath her and she let out an involuntary moan.

Elina’s kiss was everything she had imagined it would be. Tender, gentle, smooth and filled with an intense, desperate and nervous energy that simultaneously paralysed and energised her. It was like she was being flushed with light, an infusion of some powerful cocktail, gently spreading and cleansing every vein in her body.

As she pulled away, Callie sagged, shaking with desire and desperation. For a moment they looked at one another, their eyes filled with passion, and regret .

‘I wish we had done this years ago ,’ whispered Elina.

‘Me too,’ said Callie, not letting go. Then they kissed again, and her warmth throbbed beneath the surface as she smiled into her best friend’s lips.

She felt Elina’s hand sliding down her thigh, her fingers squeezing into her soft skin and in turn she slid her own hand up her friend’s side, her thumb brushing against the curve of her breast, tingling as their nipples touched, bobbing on the surface. Then they pulled away again, panting and desperate for one another, their eyes filled with passion and yearning.

Callie looked to the side and began to giggle.

Jack and Antonio were staring at them, open mouthed, unblinking and silent.

Elina glanced at them and burst into laughter, turning back and covering her mouth before looking into Callie’s eyes again. ‘I think we broke them,’ she whispered.

‘What should we do?’ said Callie softly, biting her lip.

‘Kiss again,’ and Elina leaned in, and as their lips touched, actual fireworks exploded above them.

The two girls jumped and screamed, looking up into the night sky as it rained with sparkles and colour. Callie gasped as another one whistled up toward the stars from nearby, the sound cutting through her as it soared and slowed, and then bang .

‘That’s just down the street,’ laughed Elina in delight, her hand over her mouth as another one shot up into the sky. Callie looked up at her friend’s face, filled with delight as she watched, and then it exploded and her eyes filled with stars.

After a moment she turned back and smiled, and then she leaned in and their lips met once more. Elina took hold of Callie’s hips beneath the water and pushed her back, swimming her toward the side and sliding between her thighs as they kissed. She moaned as her friend’s palm slipped up her stomach, and then found its way up the valley between her chest, and she held her breath and then moaned as slender fingers spread out across her breast.

For a moment Elina pulled away and their eyes met, then her thumb brushed across Callie’s nipple and she cried out, gasping for breath, her bikini bottoms melting as she writhed.
